3.10a Whirinaki Tramping Trip - Project Details:

Description:

On 21-13 Dec Bob and Andy took us on a tramping trip to learn more about our ngahere (rainforest), the environment and ourselves

Leaving the Road end

Arriving at Upper Whirinaki Hut

Relaxing at night with food

Rest at last

Skining our possums

The evening scene from the hut

Leaving the beautiful hut flat

Misty hills

Arriving at Mangamate hut

The way home

We learnt about plants that sparkled even more in the rain

Crossing the Mangamate stream was fun sometimes

And our boots got filled

So a break was great

The Mangamate stream is beautiful

Nearing home

Congratulations at Whirinaki car park
