SMART LEARNING COUNTRY
Free Public Forum, Wellington
7:00 - 9:00 pm, Wed 12th July
Theme: Working together to preserve and grow our county's rich natural capital for all our future grandchildrens.
This challenges all participants to look beyond short term risks and exploit longer term opportunities to grow a strong economy and communities; to reinforce New Zealand's reputation as an international role model.
This is a final session, to reflect on all the other sessions, our longer term aspirations and the help find the courage and collaborative action needed to move us forward on many parallel paths.
Format: A presentation by Hunter, followed by interactive discussions with a panel of youth and other local representatives from a range of national organisations and groupings.
Supporting Panel: (provisional)
Sir Peter Blake Youth Environment Forum ChCh - TBA
My name is Hatata and we need you to help us with NZ's biggest roundup.
Herd your parents, family, grandparents, teachers, friends, businessmen, farmers, developers, doctors, builders, engineers, lawyers, architects, researchers, judges, professors, bankers, mayors, councilors, politicians and all. We need them all working alongside us to help grow the kind of world that we would like to leave for all our future grandchildrens.
Our partner Hunter told us stories from around the planet to get us thinking about what we are doing to it. We can all share ideas to help us do things right now to make a difference.
Visit www.kaitiakitanga.net website to see how this relates to our traditional Maori values
